About Me

What's to say? I'm curently 21 years old, a student of electronic engineering at Uni, living at home. I've been into anime for about 5 years now, ever since I used to watch the awful quality real player episodes of Tenchi Muyo on a laptop back in seconary school. Since then I've moved onto better things, broadened my anime horizons, and generally just kept up with the community. It was only when I first started Uni three years ago that I really found out how deep the anime world goes, finding out about the vast amount of shows which never make here it from Japan.

Since that time I've now seen over ninety anime shows all the way through, and at least another hundred in part. My DVD collection has grown from a few bootlegged Hong Kong box sets to two full shelves of officially licensed series. I've persuaded friends that anime is more than just the stereotypical Pokemon view, and been persuaded myself to watch other series which I would normally have passed by.

Outside of anime, I spend a lot of my time at the cinema, playing video games, programming, modeling, and reading. I'm not a sporting person, but I can stand to do a bit of paintballing or rock climbing if needs be.

- Favourite bands: Mid-release Less Than Jake (about the Hello Rockview/Borders and Boundaries sort of time). Motion City Soundtrack are also fantastic.
- Favourite books: The Forge of God, His Dark Materials Trilogy, Hitch-hiker's Guide
- Favourite films: Lord of the Rings (if you can count a trilogy as one big film)
- Favourite anime: Kino's Journey, The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, FMA, AIR, Kanon, anything by Makoto Shinkai
- Favourite games: Halo, FFVII, Star Ocean 2, LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth, C&C Generals, Raven Shield, BF1942
